Carmon & Jawarski P.

“I found out about We Care through a friend at work and I will be forever grateful to her for recommending We Care. During my kids time at We Care they have learned and grown so much. The staff really cares about your child and treats him/her as one of their own. I am kept well informed about anything going on at We Care. I especially like how I can look on the Class Dojo App and see daily pictures of my children, their class and what activities they are doing that day. If I ever have any questions about anything the owner of We Care, Alana, is easy to get in touch with and always responds back quickly to my messages. I would definitely recommend We Care and I will never take my children anywhere else. They are always in a great mood when I pick them up in the evenings! We love We Care!!!"

About the Founder

Alana Jones established We Care Child Development Center (CDC), Alabama as a franchise of We Care Child Center, Florida November 2015. She opened her doors to the ages of 4 weeks to 12 years, May 2016 with an enrollment of three children.

Prior to We Care CDC Alana has served the childcare community in a variety of ways. She ctmently holds over 160 hours of childcare training hours and will receive her CDA August 2017. She is a recipient of the Alabama Early Learning Guidelines Certification. She began her childcare service as a volunteer at the local library reading to PreK students. She was then an employee at her mother's private daycare, lead teacher for an afterschool program, private nanny, baby room teacher and 2 year old teacher. Her most proud work was establishing a summer camp 2006 for girls aged 4 to 12.

Alana has additionally been a leader in the child nutrition industry for 12 years. She is a graduate of Florida State University with a Bachelors and Masters in Nutrition and Food Science and is currently pursuing her Doctoral degree in Child Nutrition & Food Systems and Non Profit Management. Her ultimate goal is to establish systems that promote child and family health and wellness and create a child and family wellness learning center in Phenix City, AL. She is owner of Hope Wellness Solutions, LLC a company that partners with school systems and community organizations to provide nutritious meal planning and nutrition education to children and families.

Her goal to create a childcare business was two pronged: Firstly, she wanted to offer a loving, safe educational experience for her own children and children in the community in a place where children can grow and excel and secondly she wanted to grow her knowledge of how children learn and develop and how the childcare experience contributes to child and family wellness.
She is the wife of Reverend Wendell V. Jones, Sr. of Phenix City, AL and mother to Wendell II and Wendie Jones.

We Care CDC was established as a child development center that would offer families in the Phenix City, AL area purpose driven teachers, who would ensure a child's development and highly skilled directors that would lead their teachers and staff to work together to ensure families are always receiving the best care! "We are not a babysitting Service" she would always say, "We are a service that ensures each child's developing correctly and receiving the utmost quality care, because WE CARE!"

Our goal is to help children develop the mindset that: "They Can DO Anything, and They Can
